Maryhill Men’s Shed worked in collaboration with GCC's Countryside Rangers and the Friends of both Ruchill and Maryhill Park to create bird, bat, and swift boxes for installation in Ruchill Park, Maryhill Park, and the Botanic Gardens. This project aimed to enhance habitats and support breeding and hibernation of local bird and bat populations.
We utilised our skills at the Shed to create boxes through the purchase of reclaimed/used wood.
